IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR ALL PASSENGERS
We have House Rules on the bus.
Please note that it is very important that everybody who visits the storytelling bus should be safe and secure at all times and also enjoy an entertaining, educational experience, free of disruption;
Once Upon a Bus is not a play bus
or a free-play activity.
We are committed to exploring the world of storytelling in a constructive and compelling way. We have rules (much like a library or a classroom) that ensure our activities are always good value for all, effectively delivered and most importantly - safe;
Uncontrolled behaviour on the bus is unruly and UNSAFE
For the safety of all staff and guests and to ensure that the storytelling unfold to good effect, children will usually be required to sit in a designated space and focus on the group's activities (relative to their age);
It is the parent/carer's responsibility to determine whether this is possible prior to booking, as
we may have to ask you to leave the session if we believe safety is being compromised.
If in doubt - please call to discuss.
For hygiene reasons, if you are potty training, please use training pants as accidents will incur cleaning costs.
No outdoor shoes are permitted on the bus,
so please be prepared to remove your shoes and place them on the racks provided on entry. We also have shoe covers for use where necessary;
No outdoor shoes, food or drink are allowed on the bus!
Please switch off mobile phones during sessions (or go to *flight mode*) as they can interfere with our audio/visual equipment (and RING!).
Where visitors are required to park on-street, please consider any neighbours by not parking directly in front of their properties (and please always remember to remove any and all valuables from your car!)
We encourage adults to participate and engage with the storytelling activities in order to help children focus and make the most of the whole experience as a group...
Thank you!
